A Dissent on that Porn Study

A few days ago I posted an item on a study that found that “[e]ight of the top 10 pornography consuming states gave their electoral votes to John McCain in last year’s presidential election.”

Mark Gisleson wrote to take issue with the study, saying, “Red staters buy more porn because savvier blue staters just download it for free from the internet. I’m really disappointed that you’re flogging this story given how fundamentally flawed (i.e., clueless) the assumptions are.”
