On Thursday, March 13 at 7:00 P.M. legendary publisher, author and social critic André Schiffrin, author of A Political Education, will discuss the state of the independent media with John R. MacArthur, publisher of Harper’s Magazine and author of Second Front: Censorship and Propaganda In the Gulf War. Also appearing will be Michael Massing, media critic for the New York Review of Books and author of Now They Tell Us: The American Press and Iraq.
