A Pulitzer for Charlie Savage

The Boston Globe's Charlie Savage has received a Pulitzer for his work highlighting the Bush Administration's use of Presidential Signing Statements and the theories that this cloaked pursuant to which Bush “quietly claimed the authority to ignore more than 750 laws.” In the last two years, Savage's contributions in the area of legal policy have been numerous and profound, and this award is well deserved.
